Data Collection and Processing
As part of your registration for events offered by us, we process the personal data you provide when you register and any data that may need to be processed during the event to enable you to participate in the event. The legal basis for this data processing is the fulfilment of pre-contractual or contractual measures in accordance with Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit b GDPR as well as our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit f GDPR for the processing of your registration and for the execution of the event.
By registering, you voluntarily provide us with your data, and to handle your registration for the event, it is necessary for us to process your data for this purpose. Failure to provide us with the data would prevent us from processing your registration and subsequently your participation in the event.
Specifically, the personal data provided by you will be processed by us for the following purposes:
· the handling of your registration and your participation in the event (this includes the disclosure of your first and last name or your company name to the other participants of the event)
· the transmission of information concerning the event to you
· the transmission of information regarding other events of interest to you, provided you have given us your separate consent
With your participation in the event, you acknowledge that, within the context of the event, image, video and/or sound recordings may be made, which may be used by ASMET within the legally permissible scope (e.g. § 78 Austrian Copyright Act, Urheberrechtsgesetz) especially for documentation and marketing purposes in all media.
Recipient
As a matter of principle, we do not transmit the collected data to external recipients. In individual cases, image, video and/or sound recordings may be published for documentation and marketing purposes. This is handled differently by us for each event, which is why we ask you to contact us if you are interested in the details of the specific publication of an event so that we can provide you with more detailed information on planned publications for this event.
Storage Duration
The data will be stored until the expiry of the warranty, limitation and statutory retention periods applicable to us, and beyond this until the end of any legal disputes in which the data is required as evidence.
Your Rights
In accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, you are entitled to the rights set out below as data subject:

Remedies
As a data subject, you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates European or national data protection law. In Austria, the competent authority is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, which has its seat in 1030 Vienna, Barichgasse 40-42.
